Police on Monday recovered the Rs 19.5 million that was looted from the Tulsipur branch of Bank of Kathmandu in Dang district on Friday. The amount was recovered from the apartment of Amar Bohara, a driver of the bank.
An investigation team formed to look into the case that reached Tulsipur to investigate the robbery recovered the amount. The team has suspected the involvement of bank staffers in the robbery .
Earlier it had been reported that three persons who had came to the bank on the guise of customers made off with Rs 19.5 million from the bank's evening counter on Friday. - Ekantipur
